Home has been wired for a back up Generator so if electricity goes out, power could be restored with the flip of a switch. (Generator itself has been removed and does not convey with home). There are separate Heat pump units for each level as well as separate meter boxes. There is about 3 acres of woods running along the side and back of the home for privacy as well as fun for the children to explore. A waterline was run by the previous owner from the creek to the house to water the flowers and landscaping. The house is currently hooked to a good well. However, when the City of Hickory ran lines through the area, the homeowner paid for a tap to hook on to city water.
