GRADING RELATED PERMIT FEES A grading fee for each permit shall be paid in the amount as set forth in the fee schedule. Plan checking fees shall be one-half of the grading permit fee and are payable at the time the permit application is submitted. The Fee for grading permit for additional work to that under a valid permit prior to completion of the original work shall be the difference between the fee paid for the original permit and the fee for the entire project including the additional work. The plan check fee for additional work shall be calculated on the same basis. The head of the Building and Safety Division of the Public Works Department shall, by July 1, 2005, and by every July 1 st thereafter, determine the above-described CCI and publish a new schedule of permit fees reflecting the changes to the fees required by this section.
