Links is given as a title proposal for The Visitor Centre of medium security prisons within the United Kingdom. Design for a positive environment, to connect prisoners with their family and friends. Design to create a environment which nurture and encourages prisoners and visitors to interact in a less intimidating setting. Layouts reconnects them preserving their dignity and respecting their privacy. Pods converge to suit larger groups, preserving their privacy. Pods and furniture are united to offer weekly interactive set activities. Meet... The Central Core where prisoners can meet with families, lawyers, social workers etc...is a transformable space for both private and group meetings.

Ann Brigandat Curious Design and Architecture Glasgow 2010 For St Andrews we have identified a location near the main road on the traffic island a location for the Illuminated Totem Sign. It will include the directory and an i button with illuminated details. The Thistle will also feature carved in a hardwood Purple Heart timber. This is the smaller of the 2 plinths we have designed and will give St Andrews the presence it requires.

Generally the design and the materials used were not the best option for a traditionnal Victorian Conservation area. However elements such as I Button and the thistle was kept and the use of wood instead of brushed aluminium was highlighted. My design stregnthens the new image for Visit Scotland Tourist Information Center and in the meantime dynamised and distinguished a popular tourist attractions. Mood, Atmosphere, Activities must be transformed to suit a wider range of customer and from Cafe Deli during the day to a trendy Bar Club at night.
