The performance is based on the best selling book by the same name of the show, BECOMING KAREEM. During the show, Jabbar talked about his life, growing up in the housing projects of New York, becoming an internationally known athlete, best-selling author, philanthropist, diplomat, political activist and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
