Please review & confirm (ref. Compensation for delay, 3, page No. 3 of GCC) 180 Days for Planning and Design. 540 Days for Execution.- Please clarify whether the duration of job is (180+540) days or only 540 days. (ref. Time Limit, 1.2 (6), page No. 2 of NIT) Clause 2 of GCC will prevail Clause 3 of GCC will prevail a.120 days for Planning, Design and Site clearance b.450 days for Execution. In the event, duration of activity a (Planning, Design and Site Clearance) is required to be revised by the bidder, execution time shall be changed accordingly so as to keep the total period for planning, design, site clearance and execution shall not be more than 570 days from the date award of work. Special Note: Sequence of Construction Preference will as follows: Except Composite Application (CAL) Lab, all the other construction areas should be developed at the earliest without disturbing (CAL) lab. Subsequently (CAL) lab should be started and integrated with other construction areas.

Foreclosure, 12.1, page No. 11 of GCC) The contractor shall treat all materials obtained during dismantling of a structure, excavation of the site for a work etc. as IITKGP s property and such materials shall be disposed off to the best advantage of IITKGP according to the instructions in writing issued by the Engineer-in- Charge.- What will be the point of disposal. How far from the work site? Please clarify (ref. Ownership of Excavated / dismantled material, 9.8, page No. 8 of GCC) Demand Draft / Pay order in favour of IIT Kharagpur payable at Kharagpur.- Request you to make EMD in the form of Bank Guarantee (ref. Sl No.- 9) Mode of Payment to IITKGP, 1.2, page No. 2 of NIT) The format for submission of the documents after the award of work shall be as follows: i. Storied of Building, Annexure-IV/Annexure-VII :- 8 (d) & 9 (c ), page No. 15 of ITB) The vendor will have to conduct Soil Testing and assess Safe Bearing Capacity for foundation system. The work includes preparation of layout, detailed designing, working drawings. Structural designing as per applicable standards and obtaining acceptance from IITKGP. Barrier free environment design. HVAC system will be as per standard norms. However, Designs incorporating energy efficient building design elements are desired as that would reduce the capital and operational cost on HVAC systems. False ceiling at the HVAC areas and connecting corridors. Power supply to the proposed building will be taken from the nearest substation. Landscaping. Internal Roads and connecting pathways. External Electrification. Refund / Conversion of Earnest Money Deposit: The Earnest Money received shall be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders without any interest upon executing the Contract Agreement by successful bidder. The Earnest Money Deposit of successful bidder shall be retained and converted into part of Security Deposit. The Earnest Money received shall be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders without any interest after the opening of financial bids. Annexure-V Format of Bank guarantee In consideration of the Director of IIT Kharagpur (hereinafter called ( IITKGP ) having offered to accept the terms and conditions of the proposed agreement between.and...
