2017-389 BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SARPY COUNTY, NEBRASKA RESOLUTION TO APPROVE PARK LAND ACQUISITION FOR SID 297, SOUTHERN PINES WHEREAS, Sanitary and Improvement District No. 297 of Sarpy County, Nebraska, (Southern Pines subdivision), hereinafter SID 297, has submitted plans and specifications to the Sarpy County Public Works Department for certain public improvements, namely the 2017 Park Acquisition, to SID 297, a development in Sarpy County; WHEREAS, SID 297 has estimated the total project cost for said land acquisition in the amount of $304,722; WHEREAS, SID 297 has requested approval of the land acquisition for the park pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. 39 1402; WHEREAS, under Neb. Rev. Stat. 31 740 it is necessary for the Sarpy County Board to approve the exact cost of land acquisition and park improvements; WHEREAS, Sarpy County Public Works has, by written correspondence dated October 23, 2017 which correspondence is attached herewith and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit A, has evaluated the proposed plans and hereby recommends approval of said costs; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SARPY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS that the August 25, 2017 plans and costs submitted to Sarpy County Public Works for the 2017 Park Acquisition to SID 297 are hereby approved. The above Resolution was approved by a vote of the Sarpy County Board of Commissioners at a public meeting duly held in accordance with applicable law on the 31st day of, October 2017.
