P A G E 10 Familiar Faces In Other Places 1886 1/4 Section Corner recovered by State Parks Dept Surveyors From Stanley King: Every once in a while we have a great find. Pictured is former Sacramento CLSA Treasurer Nick Labedzki of California State Parks with the ¼ corner common to Sections 11 and 14, T 16 N, R 1 E, MDBM, in Sutter Buttes State Park. It was set in 1886. That was 127 years ago. No record of it being used or found since then. This was one of the corners a group of CLSA member searched for in 2006.
