WELCOME Great Western Studios is a place for the creative industries to flourish. It is an inspirational work environment where individuals and businesses can meet, network and grow. The building is made up of 104 studios some of which overlook the Grand Union Canal. Each workspace has good ceiling height, polished concrete floors as well as open plan and communal access to the garden and courtyard. All studios run around a central atrium that serves as a communal space. Due to the high demand at Great Western Studios two additional floors have been constructed, the third floor and Penthouse. These studios will have panoramic views of the Grand Union Canal and Westway. They will be available for occupation from June 2017.

LOCATION Great Western Studios is in northern Notting Hill overlooking the Grand Union Canal where Paddington meets Maida Vale in the Borough of Westminster. The studios are an urban contrast nestled between the Grand Union Canal and the Westway. LOCAL AREA The studios are walking distance from Portobello Road and Notting Hill, home of the infamous Portobello Market and Electric Cinema. Great Western Studios is surrounded by fantastic pubs and restaurants as well as a large supermarket and a selection of cafes. A short walk along the Grand Union Canal brings you to Paddington Station, ideal for visitors from further a field. GETTING THERE Nearest Tubes: 5 min walk from Royal Oak & Westbourne Park tube stations (Hammersmith & City and Circle Lines). Local Buses: to Harrow Road 18 & 36, to Great Western Road 28, 31 & 328. Mainline Trains: Paddington (Heathrow Airport is 20 minutes away on the Heathrow Express).

FRONT OF HOUSE All studio holders can gain access to the building 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using the fob access system. The management team are on reception 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday to to greet your guests and assist with your needs. Once a week there is a maintenance company on site to manage the upkeep of the building. GALLERY A gallery space will soon be available. It is fully adaptable to cater for photo shoots, exhibitions, meetings, conferences, workshops and presentations of differing sizes and duration. The space will incorporate the latest technology and can benefit from fully serviced catering from The Feeding House Café if required. The space can be rented on an hourly, daily or weekly rate. Studio holders will benefit from discounted access.

COURTYARD The courtyard is a calm oasis within the industrial space. During the summer months it serves as the prime lunch spot for studio holders due to it s beautiful bloomage and cosy seating area. A selection of studios border the courtyard providing views of greenery all year round. In summer 2017 the cafe will be expanding to provide additional outdoor seating for diners, the ideal spot for soaking up some lunchtime or afterwork sun. ATRIUM At the heart of the building is the Atrium that serves as a communal space between the inward facing studios. Serving as a breakout meeting area and an informal chillout space, the Atrium can also be used for events that require a little extra space. In the past it has hosted charity art auctions, fashion shows, open studios and sample sales. The constant creative buzz makes it the perfect setting for an exhibition.

FEEDING HOUSE CAFE On site is the newly created Feeding House Café by Farm Girl that, not only prides itself on serving great Australian coffee, but more importantly, long-standing relationships with each and every Studio Holder in the building. Using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, they curate a nutritious and vast menu to adapt to the wonderful community within Great Western Studios. The café is open between 8am-5pm on Monday and Tuesday, between 8am-7pm on Wednesday and Thursday and between 8am-9pm on Friday, and provides an excellent informal meeting environment for Studio Holders.

AMENITIES SECURITY Great Western Studios has a fob access system throughout the building as well as 24 hour security. There is CCTV coverage across the Studios and an intruder detection system around the perimeter of the building. FAST INTERNET High speed internet is available through the hard-wired connection as well as Avaya phone systems with voicemail and conferencing. The provider, Excell, will find the correct package to suit your requirements. BIKE STORAGE Great Western Studios offers gated storage for up to 100 bicycles and space for motorcycle parking. SHOWERS Easy access to showers is available for all studio holders to use.
