New Employees & Promotions As we continue to grow our workload and pipeline, we continue to bring in exceptional new talent to meet the needs of our Clients. 4. Ray Currin Retires Ray Currin retired after almost 10 years working for WEAVERCOOKE. We appreciate his contributions to the company, and wish him a wonderful retirement. RAD Renovations in Georgia WEAVERCOOKE has been working at scattered sites in Georgia on affordable rehabilitation projects with funding from RAD. 7. Small Batch Train We have begun implementing a new system on several WEAVERCOOKE projects called a Small Batch Train, a production method that is designed to help make construction projects more effi cient. 2

The new Memory Care addition at St Joseph of the Pines has recently completed construction. This project adds ten memory care beds to their campus in Southern Pines, NC. CURRENT PROJECTS WEAVERCOOKE s workload has stayed strong throughout 2017. We currently have over $116 million worth of work under construction. Construction was completed in small batches, to allow residents to relocate temporarily, and then move back into their homes. This $11 million project, located close to The Renaissance (Boulevard Homes), will provide 104 units of affordable senior housing in one 4-story building. WEAVERCOOKE is beginning work at Villas at Swansgate, a renovation project in Myrtle Beach that consists of 58 units of affordable housing for seniors. 1 2

RAY CURRIN RETIRES Ray Currin retired on September 4th, after almost 10 years working with our Preconstruction team. We appreciate the time and dedication Ray has given to WEAVERCOOKE over the years. His skills and experience have been an invaluable asset on a wide range of complex and unique projects. WEAVERCOOKE has hired eight new employees in the last quarter, and we are excited to welcome them to our team! He and his travel companions (pictured to the right) made the trip in an RV. Ray sent us pictures as he rode a mule down the Grand Canyon and saw the geysers and waterfalls in Yosemite. We viewed The Alamo, Big Bend in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Death Valley, Lake Tahoe, San Antonio, Tucson, and Yosemite, and many other places through Ray s camera lens. We are excited for the adventures ahead of him, and wish him all the best in his retirement. Although Ray is offi cially retiring from WEAVERCOOKE, he will continue to support us on a part-time contract basis. PROMOTIONS AND ROLE CHANGES Tina McLeod - has been rehired as a full-time employee after several years of working for WEAVERCOOKE as a consultant. In her role as Vice President of Client Services, Tina will be working with our senior living and affordable housing clients to develop new business opportunities. Steve Allison - has been promoted from Project Manager to Vice President of Operations, after ten years of working with WEAVERCOOKE. Katherine Zekendorf - has been promoted from Subcontractor Coordinator to Assistant Estimator. Katherin will continue to play a role in project development during solicitation and budget analysis, while working closely with our Virtual Design team to develop new estimating templates that will increase overall effi ciency during preconstruction. Tom Anderson - has been promoted to Assistant Project Manager. Tom started working with WEAVERCOOKE in July 2016 as a Project Coordinator. 3 4

R.A.D. RENOVATIONS IN GEORGIA Since 2015, WEAVERCOOKE has been providing renovations for several RAD-funded communities at scattered sites in Winder and Cedartown, Georgia. RAD is a program which leverages private capital to provide renovations and new construction for Affordable communities. WEAVERCOOKE was involved very early in the RAD program through a project called Civic Park, which began construction in August 2014. Since then we have been involved in construction on RAD projects in North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina. We are nearing completion in Winder, and are scheduled to fi nish all work at Cedartown by December of 2017. Renovations to the sites in Winder, Georgia include new HVAC, electrical fi xtures, plumbing fi xtures, exterior doors, fl ooring, and paint. 20 of the 282 units are full rehab. Site improvements include new handicap-accessible parking and sidewalks, commonly located mailboxes, and handicap accessibility for the playground area. Scattered sites being renovated in Winder include the following: Capitol Homes: 20 buildings, 35 apartments on 8.52 acre site Statham: 11 buildings, 32 apartments on 6.24 acre site Glenwood Terrace: 31 buildings, 55 apartments on 6.74 acre site Hardigeree Terrace: 39 buildings, 74 apartments on 14.73 acre site Oakwood Homes: 17 buildings, 36 apartments on 7.45 acre site Smith Heights: 19 buildings, 50 apartments on 11.42 acre site WEAVERCOOKE is also currently providing construction for rehabilitation projects at scattered sites in Cedartown, Georgia. The buildings were originally constructed between 1960 and 1981. Renovations include replacing light fi xtures, HVAC, plumbing fi xtures, fl ooring, paint, kitchen cabinets, and sanitary sewer lines. Site improvements were provided, including new handicap-accessible parking and sidewalks, commonly located mailboxes, and playground equipment. Rehab work was provided at two apartment complexes: Cherokee Springs and Grayfi eld. Grayfi eld consists of one apartment building with a total of 100 apartments which are being renovated. Scattered sites are being renovated at Cherokee Springs, including the following: Alpha: 15 apartments, 9 buildings Broad: 56 apartments, 10 buildings Queen: 18 apartments, 12 buildings This Page: Grayfi eld Apartments, one of our renovation projects in Cedartown, Georgia, is nearing completion. Small Batch Train Givens Gerber and Pennington Grove have both recently began using a production method called a Small Batch Train (SBT). SBT is a type of production line through which work is advanced from dwelling unit to dwelling until on a fi rst-in-fi rst-out basis. The idea is to approximately balance processing rates of the different dwelling units so that all crew and equipment can perform productive work nearly uninterruptedly. Key in this SBT is that work gets done in small chunks (i.e. one trade contractor at a time). Each trade contractor is involved in one production task (or operation) and, once processed, is worked on by subsequent trade contractors one task at a time. Another key is to identify the batch size (number of dwelling units) that a trade contractor will be expected to complete each day. For example, if a batch size is four dwelling units and the task is hanging drywall, the trade contractor is expected to hang sheetrock in all four units in one day. The next day the same trade contractor will be hanging sheetrock in another four units, and so on, and so on. Adjustment, up or down, in manpower to accomplish each task in one day is critical. The project team will work together and defi ne a strategy for moving through a building, recognizing that work content may vary from one location to the next. The project team will: Create a breakdown by area and component types (See sample project below) Select equipment and methods, identify those that will be shared Size the crew to match the actual circumstances Continually refi ne the methods design with actual crew in light of site constraints 7 8
