CHAPTER 79 - ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY REVIEW: See Chapter 74, entitled "Reimbursement of Consultant and Professional Fees." CHAPTER 85 - FIRE PREVENTION AND BUILDING CONSTRUCTION: 85-12. Fees. Upon the filing of an application for a building permit, the fees as established in 180-58E of Chapter 180, Zoning shall be paid. 1. Dwellings on one-lot developments: $175 per unit, plus an additional $0.10 per square foot over 2,500 square feet, plus $75 septic inspection. See #29, #30 and applicable Escrow Fees. 2. Multifamily dwellings: $400, an additional $50 per unit in excess of three units, plus $75 septic inspection if not on public sewers. See #29, #30 and applicable Escrow Fees. 3. Farm buildings, if permit required: $50 minimum and $1 for each additional 100 square feet or fraction thereof in excess of 5,000 square feet. Escrow Fees if electrical inspection is needed. 4. Commercial and/or industrial buildings and/or other nonresidential buildings, additions thereto, renovations, alterations, reconstruction, change of use: $250 minimum permit fee or $0.10 cents per square foot whichever is greater, plus $75 septic inspection and applicable Escrow Fees. 5. Additions to any residential building: $100 permit fee. See #29, #30 and applicable Escrow Fees. 6. Installation and/or replacement of accessory buildings, except for farm buildings, pole barns and residential garages: $50 permit fee or $1 for each 100 square feet whichever is greater. 7. Installation and/or replacement of a telecommunications tower, the replacement and/or addition of an accessory building on the same site as the telecommunications tower: $1000 permit fee. Escrow Fees. 8. Installation of additional antenna on an existing telecommunications tower: $750 permit fee. Escrow Fees. 9. Fire place installation, wood stove installation and/or replacement including chimney inspection, property maintenance inspection as requested: $50 each plus $40 for each re-inspection. See #29, #30 and applicable Escrow Fees. 10. Septic system inspection on an existing lot for replacement and/or new: $75 each, plus $50 for each additional inspection in excess of two inspections until the Certificate of Compliance has been issued. 11. Park and recreation fee: $650 for single family dwelling; $400 for each dwelling, multiple-family of not more than 4 dwelling units; $150 for each dwelling, multi-family apartment building. 12. In the event construction is commenced and/or completed prior to a building permit being issued, a building permit shall be issued only after payment of all applicable fee or fees per 180-58E, plus an administrative fee of $100 with the understanding that a Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Compliance will not be issued unless all inspections have been made as required by the Building Code(s) of New York State. 13. Installation and replacement of swimming pools and/or hot tubs in residential zoning districts: $60 each, plus $30 for each additional inspection, and applicable Escrow Fees. 14. Installation and/or replacement of decks, windows, breezeways, enclosed or open porch, garages, sunroom, carports: $60 each. See #29, #30 and applicable Escrow Fees. 15. Demolition of a building: $75 each permit 16. Installation and/or replacement of any residential tower antenna, windmill, solar panels or any green power application: $75 permit fee, plus $75 for each additional inspection. Escrow required. 17. Placement and/or replacement of a manufactured home in a licensed manufactured/mobile home park: $125 per unit. See #29, #30 and applicable Escrow Fees. 18. A. Renewal of a prior issued Building Permit for resident construction for a period of 12 months upon the payment of 100% of the permit fee, or a minimum of $50.00 plus postage. See #29, #30 and applicable. B. Renewal a prior issued Building Permit for non-residential construction for a period of 12 months upon payment of $250.00 plus postage. 19. Research fee: $35, plus $50 for each field visitation when requested in writing (excepting if request is submitted as a FOIL) to provide confirmation of Certificate of Occupancy, Certificate of Compliance, Home Occupation Permits, Electrical Inspections and/or other information as requested. 20. Renovation of home, finishing basement, attic and/or other unfinished spaces, adding emergency egress window and/or window well: $75. See #29, #30 and applicable Escrow Fees. 21. Installation and/or repair of standby residential generators: $50, and applicable Escrow Fees. 22. Installation and/or repair of standby commercial/industrial generators: $150, and applicable Escrow Fees. 23. Installation and/or repair of electrical transfer switches: $50, and applicable Escrow Fees. 24. Placement of a manufactured home on private lot: $150, plus an additional $0.10 per square foot over 2500 square feet, plus $75 septic inspection fee. See #29 and applicable Escrow Fees. 25. Tear off/ reroof: $50. See #38 and applicable. 26. Any electrical work by electrical contractor: $40. See #29 and applicable Escrow Fees. 27. Replacement furnaces, central air conditioning units and/or water heaters: $40. See #29 and applicable Escrow Fees. 28. Truss placard fee for new construction, existing residence having an addition, repair, renovation, and/or reconstruction done that has engineered wood products (Truss, Laminated Beams and/or I Joists): $15. 29. 911 Reflective House Numbers: $25. 30. Excavation and/or Top Soil Removal which requires a Permit: $0.06 per cubic yard. 31. Installation and/or replacement of a pole barn on a residential lot, garage on a residential lot and/or other accessory structures requiring a building permit not specifically listed in this fee schedule: $75 each. See #29 and #30 and applicable Escrow Fees. ESCROW FEES: The following escrow fees must be paid with an application for the following permits: 1. For the purpose of constructing a new home or the placement of a manufactured home on a residential lot: $500 in addition to all other fees shall be paid at the time of the issuance of the Building Permit. Said monies shall be held until the completion of all construction, final cleanup, grading, ground cover established, all required work within the right-of-way and/or any other work required by the permit. These funds shall be retained until the Building Inspector and Highway Superintendent have approved the release of such funds which shall then be returned to the applicant as shown on the Building Permit. 2. For the purpose of constructing a commercial/industrial building: ½ of the Building permit but in any event not less than $1,500 in addition to all other fees shall be paid at the time of the issuance of the Building Permit. Said monies shall be held until the completion of all construction, final cleanup, grading, ground cover established, all required work within the right-of-way and/or any other work required by the permit. These funds shall be retained until the Building Inspector and Highway Superintendent have approved the release of such funds which shall then be returned to the applicant as show on the Building Permit. 3. For the purpose of building/installing an above ground swimming pool, and/or hot tub in any zoning district: $100 or for an in ground swimming pool: $250 in addition to all other fees shall be paid at the time of the issuance of the Building Permit. Upon receipt by the Building Inspector of proof that an electrical inspection has been performed by a third party engaged in the business of performing electrical inspections and the electrical installation has passed said inspection a Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Compliance will not be issued or will the release of such escrow funds be returned to the applicant as shown on the Building Permit. 4. For the purpose of replacement or installation of a new manufactured home in a licensed manufactured home park: $650 in addition to all other fees shall be paid at the time of the issuance of the Building Permit. Release of the escrow funds will be approved at the time that all work has been completed, required inspections made to the satisfaction of the Building Inspector and a Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Compliance has been issued. Said funds will be released to the applicant as shown on the Building Permit. SUBDIVISION AND/OR SITE PLAN REVIEW FEES: ALSO SEE CHAPTER 74, ENTITLED Adopted December 20, 2018 3

1 to 3 lots or parcels - $400 each lot or parcel. 4 to 9 lots or parcels - $425 each lot or parcel. 10 lots or more parcels - $450 each lot or parcel A) $500 Special Use Permit application fee and in addition see Chapter 74, entitled "Reimbursement of Consultant and Professional Fees." A)(1) In the event that the Special Use Permit application shall be for an approved Site Plan and in a preexisting building then the fee shall be $150 and in addition see Chapter 74, entitled B) Subdivision of residential or non-residential land without the approval for construction of any structure(s) $225 for each lot or parcel, and in addition see Chapter 74, entitled "Reimbursement of Consultant and Professional Fees." C) Development in any non-residential zoning district(s) $100 per 100 square feet of building area applied for, and in addition see Chapter 74, entitled "Reimbursement of Consultant and Professional Fees." D) Administration fee of $100. If as part of an application for subdivision and/or site plan approval, percolation test(s) are required the applicant shall pay as part of the application fee: a) Percolation and/or deep-hole test(s) are witnessed by the Engineer for the Town of Walworth the fee shall be based upon the billing from the Engineering Firm of record. b) Percolation and/or deep-hole test(s) are witnessed by the Building Inspector, a fee of $100 per residential lot or $100 for each test location for a non-residential lot or parcel. c) Licensing fee for encroachment within an easement $60.00 and See Chapter 74 eititled CHAPTER 99 JUNKYARDS AND JUNK DEALERS: The annual renewal fee shall be $125.00 per application per calendar year.
