At the side a further door leads into the conservatory/ sun room, set up and used as a large boot room/ utility/ dog lobby at present, and from here the door leads out to the large gravel parking area. Outside needs explaining. The plot is triangular, tapering to the North tip. The whole is securely fenced in, with close board fencing to the West and hedgerow to the South. The access lane that comes in from the road leads only to this house and neighbouring farmland, hence there are no neighbouring houses at all. To the East the boundary fence borders the A34 so there is traffic noise from here for much of the time. However, if a row of semi-mature trees were planted, as we have seen elsewhere, this would make a great difference to the intrusion from this.
