Experience (cont d): 5.2008 to 11.2008 Project Architect Sorg Architects, Washington DC My time with Sorg was short due to the recession, however, in that time I was introduced to an alternate method of working on projects that required micro management and internal coordination due to the size and type of the projects to which I was assigned. My experience with his office also taught me the extreme importance of careful communication between Consultants, the Client, and the General Contractor in remote locations as well as the importance of teamwork outside and within the firm. I was taught VectorWorks and soon after assigned a couple small additions. Within a year I was then assigned a 10,000 sq ft office building for the U.S.A.I.D. in Kingston, Jamaica which was under a fast track contract. This project required consistent teamwork.
