west connex motorway update The work for West Connex Stage 2 will commence in 2015, starting with the upgrading of the M5 - King Georges Road interchange. Stage 2 of West Connex, also known as The New M5 will run from the existing M5 East corridor at Beverly Hills via tunnel to St Peters, providing improved access to the airport, south Sydney suburbs including Hurstville and Port Botany precincts.
