Per MLS Rules: All listings are to be entered into the MLS via Paragon within 4 Calendar Days of the seller listing the property with you. (weekends included in the day count) Any change in listed price or other change in the original listing agreement shall be input into the MLS via Paragon by 5:00 PM next business day. No names, phone numbers, or contact info of the listing agent or their office may be in the Public Remarks. Any relationship of the owner to the agent must be disclosed in the Public Remarks The Seller's Name, as listed in the listing agreement shall be input into the MLS except when seller expressly directs IN WRITING that it be withheld. ALL Status Changes, extension of closing dates, including final closing of SALES, shall be input into the MLS by 5:00 PM the next business day. If your closing date has changed, it is required the new date to be input by 5:00pm the next business day. Failure to follow the MLS Rules WILL cause action to be taken such as fines, and/or suspension of access to the MLS. PLEASE get your listings up to date.

7 IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE, take a minute to read because we are repeatedly having issues regarding the following: It is IMPORTANT that ALL CHANGES of Licensed persons within every office be reported to WFAR immediately. (Broker, Salesperson, Appraiser, Appraiser Trainee, etc.) Please notify us when they join or leave your office, or if they activate or inactivate their license. In order to keep the Wichita Falls Association of REALTORS records correct (and in turn, the Texas Association of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS ), we need your assistance. Please read and keep the following information. When a newly licensed salesperson, appraiser, or appraiser trainee joins your office, that association must be reported to the WFAR office immediately. The amount of Local, TAR, NAR and MLS (if the office is a member of MLS) dues and fees owed is based on the date of licensure with your office as shown by TREC. When a licensed salesperson transfers to your office, please make a copy of the notice you send to TREC, and send the copy to the WFAR office within 10 days of the date of transfer. If the salesperson is transferring from another REALTOR office, there is a $15 charge payable to WFAR to process the transfer at the local, state and national levels. When a licensed broker transfers to your office, please make a copy of TREC s Change of Main Office Address by Broker form you send to TREC, and send the copy to the WFAR office within 10 days of the date of transfer. If the broker is transferring from another REALTOR office, there is a $15 charge payable to WFAR to process the transfer at the local, state and national levels. When a licensed salesperson leaves your office, please make a copy of TREC s Notice of Salesman Sponsorship Termination or Request for Inactive Status (by Salesperson form you send to TREC, and send the copy the copy to the WFAR office within 10 days of the termination. Until this is received at the WFAR office, your principal broker is liable for Local, TAR, NAR and MLS dues (if the office is a member of MLS) for that salesperson. When a licensed broker leaves your office, send the WFAR office a memo signed by the principal broker stating that the broker is no longer associated with your office within 10 days of the date of termination. Until this is received at the WFAR office, your principal broker is liable for Local, TAR, NAR and MLS (if the office is a member of MLS) dues for that broker. Any change of address, phone number, email address, name, etc., needs to be reported to the WFAR office immediately so that local records as well as TAR and NAR records can be updated. Remember, the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) does not report any changes of licensure, address, etc., to the WFAR office. Reporting is the responsibility of each Principal Broker. RE: OFFICE STAFF It is also of Extreme Importance that wfar be notified of ALL changes of Office Support Staff. (Office Managers, Secretaries, Receptionists and Personal Assistants, that have Access to the MLS.) Too often, we have NOT been notified when these personnel have left the offices. Their access to the MLS and their ability to make CHANGES to YOUR listings is still accessible to them unless we are notified so we can turn off their access. Do NOT let their replacement ASSUME their Paragon Log-In, we will assign a NEW Log-In to new personnel and Terminate the Log-In of the previous employee to guard your listings and Office Info, Stats, etc. Notify WFAR Immediately when Support Staff are no longer in your employment. Paragon (MLS) is easily accessible from anywhere on any device with internet access so the security of your MLS Listings could easily be compromised.
