Access Statement for The Bringewood Self Catering Introduction The Bringewood is unique self-catering experience with a rural location, located at 700ft stunning views into Wales. The market town of Ludlow is 6.5 miles or the local village Leintwardine 3.5 miles. The Bringewood has 6 apartments all built and designed to a high standard. The Bringewood sleeps up to 22 people. The Cowshed sleeps 2 with ensuite shower and bath The Duckhouse sleeps 4 shared bath and shower room The Workshop sleeps 4 ensuite shower and bath The Stables sleeps 4 ensuite shower and bathroom The Old Granary sleeps 4 ensuite shower and bathroom The Hayloft sleeps 4 ensuite shower and bathroom We look forward to you staying at The Bringewood. If you have any questions or require any assistance please phone 01568770556 or email info@thebringewood.co.uk Pre-Arrival The Bringewood is located in a rural location with limited public transport Ludlow and Leintwardine have taxi services. Ludlow has a train station and bus service You can use the local tesco to deliver food to the apartment and we will unpack the food for your or you can use the local farm shop (Ludlow Food Centre) Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking All keys for the apartments are located in key safes at the entrance doors to the apartments. The key can be collected from the owners with prior arrangement The Bringewood has a large car park accommodating up to 12 cars. The Cowshed has its own parking space. The parking area is a 20mm granite gravel surface which leads onto a paved walkway which leads all around the Bringewood. The entire area outside The Bringewood is well lit at night with 6 floodlights which can be switched on or off. Also there are lights located all around the exterior walls. Entrance to Property The exterior main entrances to The Bringewood are 90cm these entrances have a level entry access. Door handle at 98 cm high, door threshold 15cm. This leads you into the communal lounge/bar/function room (The Oakroom). The flooring is a sprung oak floor throughout. There are 3 fire escape routes from this area. The sounders are both noise and strobe. The emergency lighting provides light for the escape routes. The Oakroom is approx. 9m x 16m. The bar height is 102cm, the double door leading into the lounge is 145cm, the lounge size 900cm x 600cm. In the lounge the middle door of the 3 patio doors (patio door width 74cm) has a step down on to the western patio( step down 25cm) From the Oak room an oak ramp with metal handrails at 113cm leads down to the Ladies toilets, Men s Toilets and disabled toilets and fire escape. The toilets are on the left at the base of the ramp and the disabled is fully compliant General heights from floor: All light switches 110cm All underfloor heating thermostats 110cm All sockets (not including kitchen) 48cm
