Married Lasthenie Gomez, the daughter of Ariane Valery Gomez. Both women were well-known and accomplished artists. Aleks and Lasthenie had one daughter, Isabella. Aleksander s brother, Jan K., a musician and a photographer, came to the USA in 1860.
