Married Lasthenie Gomez, the daughter of Ariane Valery Gomez. Both women were well-known and accomplished artists. Aleks and Lasthenie had one daughter, Isabella. Aleksander s brother, Jan K., a musician and a photographer, came to the USA in 1860. Jan took his own life in 1874; Valery died in 1878; Lasthenie died in 1882; Aleks took his own life in 1884 after his daughter, Isabella, accused him (falsely?) of violating her. 1849: Wołowski first came to the USA in 1849 1852
