TECHNICAL DETAILS LOCATION The village of Casalguidi is 13 kilometres far from Serravalle, in the Tuscan countyside. Originally, the name Casalguidi was composed just by the word Casal and following the settlement of the local lordship of the Guidi family, the name of the family was added to the previous name of the village. In the past, during the year 1132, the rural population established in Casalguidi and then it started to settle the other surrounding villages. In the year 1301, the village was distroyed by the army of Corso, during the military march in Pistoia.
