Long Itchington, Holy Trinity {2016-002209} CP-01 Removal of pews and existing chairs, to replace with new chairs Post-DAC correspondence: Advice: The committee did not feel the proposed compromise chair, with upholstered seat but not backing, was of a suitable design or colour for the historic listed ecclesiastical interior. They were also aware that since it was partly upholstered it would need to be referred back to the Chancellor in any case, since the faculty had stipulated unpadded seating. The committee suggested that the PCC refer back to the Chancellor, as per his judgment, reporting that the PCC and DAC have been unable to agree on a suitable unupholstered chair. Although the DAC are not prepared to support the PCC s request for a compromise chair with an upholstered seat, they did wish to underline that their original recommendation of the original choice of chair still stands.
