On Citizenship, State and Migration SEMINAR REVIEW 26.6. - 14.7. 2017 Palazzo Ca Tron, IUAV University of Venice Content orientation and leading: Mara Ambrožič, LJMU PhD researcher and Project Director NSK State Pavilion Didactic meditation and coordination: Chiara Gaspardo and Corinne Mazzoli With the guest participation of NSK State Pavilion members, organisers and delegates MA Students: Lorenza Adessi, Flavia Banchi, Lucia Bergamaschi, Licia Bianchi, Eleonora Boraggini, Elisa Businaro, Daniele Costa, Martina Camani, Amy Ferullo, Ludovico Franzolini, Gaetano Savio Intilla, Sabrina Losenno, Beatrice Marotta, Margherita Moro, Marcella Merra, Guglielmo Messina, Matias Julian Nativo, Alessia Prati, Simone Rossi Tasks and aim Over intensive 14 days (spread over 3 weeks) students were asked to attend lectures and conferences as well as to read, debate and participate to performative activities. The aim was to elaborate a critical contribution, an event or a visual presentation built around given topics (collective engagement, social formations, language systems, citizenship, and migrations). Format Students were asked to form 3 groups and work collectively, so to iterate and reflect upon strategies of cooperative study and self-confrontation. Main topics Citizenship, State and Migration

Lecture on the historical and political framing of concepts of State, Nation, and Capital, to be followed by 3-4 days of study of bibliography of reference. Wednesday-Friday, 28-30.6 Three-days of guest workshop Exercising Citizenship proposed and organised by Marjetica Potrč, Ime Essien and Lucia Babina.
