In 1943, when Myrtle Judy, Todd was 14, she and her mother Florence May Sharpe visited her father Jack Martin at a western clothing store at 104 St. off Jasper Ave. where he was working. This was one of the only times she remembered meeting him. According to the Henderson s Directory, Jack Martin lived in an apartment at 10148-104th St. which was directly across from Great West Saddlery (see last photo). Jack listed his occupation as a salesman and clerk for the years he was in the Henderson s List. Jack Martin was said to have a twin sister and his background was Pennsylvania Dutch. All the following research seem to support those statements.
