MARTIAN ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION WITH ARCHITECTS STUDENTS 1. In 2OO1, with APM and architectural school of Paris Val de Seine, a competition as been created to make the great design of a Martian base. 2. Terms of reference as been done to have a more realistic project and free expression (3D films, plans, models, draws, etc.) 3. A MARTIAN COLONY FOR 70 PEOPLE A scale model by students of Strate College Designers and APM in 2010 1. Find a strategic site : a valley 2. The project is structured with : - 14 Hab modules (8m diameter) connected by inflatable circulations - 2 Energy modules in the hill (for more safety) - 9 inflatables greenhouses - Flexible solar panels on the sides of the valley at the South - 2 garages for rovers and equipment - 1 drilling derrick at the bottom of the valley
