This May, Chris was honored by the AIA with a Young Architects Award. Statement: One of the biggest challenges we have as architects is staying relevant. Vital to overcoming this challenge is extending our services beyond design and serving as trusted advisors to our clients. My service to the AIA has afforded first-hand knowledge of the organization s influence within the community. If elected, I hope to enhance AIA s already successful programs and services, grow and nurture its core initiatives, and strengthen its relationships with other professional organizations. I am still working on it and there is a lot more that needs to be done. As professionals like yourself, I need to see that the AIA is doing what they can to help us raise that awareness. I m running for Treasurer to see how that can strategically happen. The outgoing Treasurer, has done a fantastic job in keeping the Chapter updated towards where we are.
