Andırın is the most wooded and greenery district of Kahramanmaraş. The area where the HEPP located is almost foresty. 86,676 m 2 was rented from Ministry of Environment and Forest. 10,300 m 2 was volunteer purchased and 100,000 TL was paid to the land users. There aren t any structure or productive assets on the used land. Poyraz HEPP is a run of the river station so no land will be submerged. Also during the consultation the owners of the land users were informed about areas that would be taken both from the private owners and government. There were no concerns raised at the meeting.
