USGS Quad No 3096-424 UTM Pt. 14/752220/3396060 Acreage less than one acre Site No. 1439 Description continued: Ionic columns on brick piers; squared-wood balusters; 2 interior brick chimneys offset from center w/ corbeled caps; garage; pedimented central bay breaks through roof line; twin pedimented dormers which flank central bay also break through roof line; classical detailing at door and window surrounds; applique garlands on facade; kicked eaves in gable ends. Significance continued; substantially in 1917, suggesting that Mrs. M.E. McDougal had it built. C. Edgar Jones, president of the First Bank if. Trust, owned the house from 1925 until about 1940. There have been three owners since then. Area of Significance: firch1tecture.
