USGS Quad No 3096-424 UTM Pt. 14/752220/3396060 Acreage less than one acre Site No. 1439 Description continued: Ionic columns on brick piers; squared-wood balusters; 2 interior brick chimneys offset from center w/ corbeled caps; garage; pedimented central bay breaks through roof line; twin pedimented dormers which flank central bay also break through roof line; classical detailing at door and window surrounds; applique garlands on facade; kicked eaves in gable ends. Significance continued; substantially in 1917, suggesting that Mrs. M.E. McDougal had it built. C. Edgar Jones, president of the First Bank if. Trust, owned the house from 1925 until about 1940.
