TURRAMURRA UNITING CHURCH 152NT01 RACE, RACISM AND RELIGION Please note: Veroe has had a fall and will be unable to take her Monday History class at Turramurra Uniting Church for at least a few weeks. Phil Pryor has agreed to take the class on 10 August when we may have a better idea of Veroe s situation. Hope to see the current members of the class there. 152NT02 CURRENT AFFAIRS DISCUSSION GROUP We discuss current affairs and associated ideas based on media reports in an informal and objective manner. The featured soloist is violinist Emma Zhuang (18). Emma was the overall winner of the NSW Secondary Schools Concerto Competition in 2014. She is due to leave Australia in September this year, to take up a scholarship at the Juilliard School in New York. The conductor will be Max McBride.
