ACCOMMODATION AT CANADA COURT INFORMATION FOR GUIDANCE ONLY Welcome to A2 Dominion South who manage the accommodation at the East Surrey Hospital site. The accommodation at this site is less than 5 years old and consists of flats divided into rooms. You may be sharing a flat with either 4 or 3 rooms; however we do have some 2 share flats and a small number of 1 bedroom selfcontained flats. NB There is a waiting list for the self-contained units. There is no family accommodation on site. Some rooms have en suite facilities and are only available for longer term lets (over 28 days). Short term lets (less than 28 days) are usually in accommodation with shared kitchen and bathroom. There is a communal kitchen, bathroom and lounge in each flat and some flats have separate lounges but not all of them. There are no televisions provided. If you bring your Television you will have to apply for a television licence. Ironing boards, cooking utensils and crockery are all provided. Communal areas are cleaned weekly. The individual rooms are not cleaned while you are in situ so you may want to bring a duvet, extra towels and bed linen. There is a launderette on site for your convenience which there is charge for. ROOMS The rooms contain a double bed with a hospital blanket, 2 sheets and one pillow with pillow case. There is a wardrobe, desk, bedside cabinet and chair in each room. There is a washbasin in the non en suite accommodation. The pictures show a typical en suite room. Non en suites are similar but with no bathroom in the corner of the room. RENTS Non en suite: En suite: 475.88 per month due on 1st each month. 530.49 per month due on 1st each month. Rent to be paid in advance of collecting the key. Plus a deposit of one month s rent before collection of keys. INTERNET The internet connection is a separate payment which is managed by Cablecom on a subscriber service. You can collect an internet cable from the Accommodation Office. PARKING There is no parking available for short term bookings at the accommodation. For short term parking information you will need to contact the main hospital on 01737 768511. There is limited parking on site for longer term tenants only. There is always a waiting list for parking spaces as there are only 50 available You can apply to go on the waiting list for a parking space. There is a charge for a parking fob which is refunded when you leave. Please ask the office for details of costs. There is a regular bus service from the main entrance of the hospital to Redhill and Gatwick/Crawley. It s a 2 min walk to the hospital. There are bike sheds on site. Page 2 of 3
