Key Insights Residential launches in West India increased by 27 per cent as compared to previous month. Mumbai led the pack in new launches, accounting for nearly 82 per cent of the combined launches of Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Pune put together. The city witnessed an increase of over 60 per cent in new unit launches during the month of Apr 16 over the previous month Prices of residential properties in Pune increased marginally across all localities, ranging between 2 per cent to 10 per cent annually, whereas prices in Mumbai remained range bound Despite declining sales, Ahmedabad witnessed a price appreciation of five per cent year-on-year, with some prominent localities of Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad Central witnessing price rise in the range of 12 per cent to 17 per cent News & Deals: Ajmera Realty plans to develop 10,000 affordable homes by 2026 in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) Realty developer Kanakia Group bought development rights for 0.5 million sq.ft. on a Powai land parcel for Rs.400 Crore from the local developer Skyline Pune Municipal Corporation, in order to tame the issue of pollution arising out of construction waste, plans to offer a discount of 5 per cent on development charges to developers for using recycled building material supplied by the civic body The German Government's development bank, KfW, will provide Rs.3,750 Crore loan assistance to Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRCL) to execute the new sustainable metro system in Nagpur city.
