O Brien SECONDED: S. McTavish That the agenda be approved as distributed. Special Presentation Les Kelly and Peter Lammens spoke for about an hour on the waterfront committee of the Citizens Brockville and the Brock Trail revitalization. Present trail is approx 6 km and there have been plans to expand this to 20, extending from the river to the Back Pond. Unfortunately funding seems never to be available, with the result that very little has been done in the last 10 years. A fundraising campaign is planned for later this summer and a brochure with map is being prepared. B. Porter requested that the Museum would like to have a large scale map made to put on display. It was noted that the wooden footbridge by the Mill has deteriorated and needs to be replaced before it can be e-opened. There are on-going discussions with CP about using some railway property for access under the 401 etc. Les Kelly will ask John Taylor to keep the Museum up to date on plans and progress. 1
