about tourism esperance Tourism Esperance is a membership based not-for-profit tourism organisation managed by a committee of passionate local volunteers. We represent businesses benefiting from tourism (both directly & indirectly) within the Shire of Esperance. We also work closely with our regional tourism body, the Australia s Golden Outback region. The Tourism Esperance board is made up of eight elected committee members, and three constituent representatives. The role of Tourism Esperance is to create, promote and distribute destination marketing for our region. We build and nurture partnerships between the Shire of Esperance, the Esperance Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Goldfields Esperance Development Commission, Industry Stakeholders, Australia s Golden Outback, Tourism Council of WA, and our valued Tourism Esperance Members. We are the operational connection between our shire and Australia s Golden Outback (AGO), and provide important input into the future planning of tourism in the Southern Coastal sub-region of AGO. We lobby & develop stronger communication and relationships with Tourism WA, AGO and other relevant Tourism bodies, for the benefit of members. We maintain a positive relationship with other Visitor Servicing bodies (Visitor Centres, Shire Information Centres, Community Resource Centres) and provide support to our members by ensuring they are kept informed of matters affecting the Tourism Industry. Tourism Esperance also encourages and supports the visitation of Cruise Ships to Esperance, and assists members with access to Cruise Ship passengers as they arrive. our mission To develop partnerships / links with industry stakeholders to support tourism development and destination marketing, thereby increasing tourist visitation to Esperance and surrounding areas. Tourism Esperance produces & prints over 50,000 copies of it s Esperance Holiday Guide, which is then distributed to 160 locations throughout WA & the country. holiday guide The Experience Esperance Holiday Guide is a valuable marketing tool for your business, and as a member, you have access to discounted advertising and qualify for selection to be featured within the body content portion of the publication.

With a mobile responsive & simple to use interface, Tourism Esperance can now provide members with online representation for their businesses. Platforms have already been created to host each business category, with the ability to also include our members business details, logo, imagery, contacts & web links - at no additional membership cost to the previous year. The new website contains simple & essential information on what visitors to Esperance can expect to see & explore when they arrive, and is the perfect tool to compliment your business exposure. The Holiday Guide is also available as a direct PDF download, or as an online reader / viewer. Tourism Esperance is excited to move into this phase of online marketing, and is looking to grow and develop their online presence further - alongside their successful print & social media marketing of the Esperance region.
