OFFICE APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP Thank you for choosing the Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS as your board of choice! Below are some simple steps for applying for membership, types of membership available, membership payment options, and a few other key items. Please review, but feel free to contact our office should you have any questions. Submitting an Office Application. Applications must include the following: A completed Application for REALTOR Membership, including license number and signature. (pages 2 & 3) A copy of your state license pocket card. Membership classification and payment option / information (pricing and information can be found on page 8) Complete and return pages 2 thru 7 to our office - page 9 is optional. The above information can be submitted to GMAR via fax at (248) 478-3150 or emailed to Elaine@GMARonline.com. Upon GMAR receiving and processing your application, Realcomp II, Ltd., the multiple listing service, will be notified and send you an email with your temporary login information. PLEASE NOTE: New members must complete our New Member Orientation training course within 90-days of submitting application. Realcomp II, Ltd. also offers a training overview on using the MLS system. Membership Classifications: NEW MEMBER: You are newly licensed or have never previously belonged to any REALTOR Association. REINSTATING/TRANSFERRING: You are returning to GMAR after an absence of less than 1 year, OR, you are currently a member of another Association and are transferring your primary membership to GMAR. SECONDARY MEMBER: You currently belong to a primary board, but wish to have GMAR membership as well. You must present a Letter of Good Standing from your primary board indicating that your State and National dues are paid for the year. You must remain in good standing with your primary board while you are a secondary member with us. Payment Options: is an education package and dues program offered exclusively through GMAR; it offers monthly payments of $48.95 instead of dues payment in one lump sum. This program includes GMAR, MAR & NAR membership dues, plus the ability to take over $500 worth of educational classes each year. Courses available include: 2 Designation/Certification Courses Course 1400-2/4 Continuing Education Legal Update Seminar Code of Ethics **As a newly licensed member of GMAR, you must maintain active membership for a minimum of 6-months prior to attending Designation and/or Certification courses as part of your membership. You may, however, immediately take advantage of the Continuing Education, Legal Update and Code of Ethics training courses. membership is paid in full at time of application, and then an annual invoice will be mailed out each year, due by October 31 st for the following year s membership dues for GMAR, MAR and NAR. EduPass is an additional option available for our members who wish to take advantage of the discounted education package. This can be purchased at anytime during your membership and is valid for one year from the date of purchase and includes all of the courses also available through the program. Page 1 of 9

OFFICE APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP I, the undersigned, hereby apply for Primary Secondary REALTOR Membership in the above named Board. In the event that I am not accepted into membership, a refund of all monies paid will be returned to me. After approval, I agree to abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS, which includes the duty to arbitrate, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the above named Association, the State Association and the National Association, and if required, I further agree to satisfactorily complete a reasonable and nondiscriminatory written examination on such Code, Constitutions, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations. I understand membership brings certain privileges and obligations that require compliance. Membership is final only upon approval by the Board of Directors and may be revoked should completion of requirements, such as orientation, not be completed within 90 days from the date of application. OFFICE APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP 1. GMAR PAYMENT OPTIONS: Please choose your membership option: MEMBER-MAX (please fill out # 2 and # 4) PREMIER (please fill out only # 4) PREMIER + EDU-PASS (please fill out # 3 and # 4) 2. GMAR MEMBER-MAX PAYMENT AGREEMENT This agreement authorizes GMAR to automatically debit your credit card, debit card, or checking account each month for the amount specified below to continue your membership with GMAR. It is your responsibility to notify GMAR of any changes to your account, including: updated expiration date, closing of account for any reason (including identity theft), any hold on funds by the banking institute, etc. If your payment is declined for any reason, you will be charged a $10.00 late fee for each declined payment, plus an additional $30.00 fee for NSF charges when using a checking account for payments. Payments not made (including any additional fees) within 10 calendar days, will result in a loss of all services, including MLS access, until payment is made; if account remains unpaid for 30 days the entire office may be suspended, including MLS. membership will automatically renew at the end of the 12-months and include an annual fee of $10.00 to remain in the program. Members who elect not to continue the program after the initial 12-month period must contact GMAR to transfer to the Membership, which will be billed at our next regularly scheduled dues billing. You are automatically eligible to attend educational courses at no additional charge, which include: the standard continuing education courses, Legal Update Seminar, Code of Ethics Training, and two Designation/Certification classes through GMAR. Pre-registration is required for all courses to ensure availability. Valid only for courses hosted by GMAR, unless otherwise advertised. During your 12-month agreement, should you decide to terminate membership with GMAR, any remaining fees paid on your behalf to the MAR and/or the NAR will be included in one final payment, debited upon your termination of membership. Please note that the MAR/NAR membership dues will be paid in full, on your behalf. GMAR WILL NOT be responsible for notifying you regarding declined and/or returned payments. There are no exceptions to the information stated above. If you are unable to make your payment on the date payment is due, services (including MLS) will be suspended until payment is made, including any additional fees. Your initial payment amount will be debited at time of application, with $48.95/month automatically debited each month thereafter. Signature: Date: 3.
