Over 100 jobs are tied to the airlines at the airport, including TSA, ticketing and baggage agents, restaurant employees, taxi drivers, and more. Visitors to our county eat in our restaurants, stay in our hotels, shop in our stores, rent cars, and inquire about buying homes here. The Charlotte County Tourist Development Tax revenues jumped 26% in December, 2011 compared with December, 2010.
