HOUSING on CAMPUS WELCOME AT IST AUSTRIA! Advantages to living directly and conveniently on the campus You are looking for accommodation as a guest or new employee at IST AUSTRIA? Then IST Austria can offer you a comfortable living space on campus. You can either rent a guesthouse room or apartments in the size of approx. 33m² up to 78 m². We offer: 38 guesthouse rooms located in the central building / I01 28 apartments OLD / I31 I35 90 apartments NEW, built 2017 / I37 I45 IST Austria offers accommodation on campus for short as well as long stays. For short stays of up to 2 months, guests and employees of IST Austria can book one of our 38 guesthouse rooms. For longer stays, we offer 118 apartments of varying sizes for rent, from a simple 33m² apartment for one or two people to a 78 m² apartment for families or to be shared by two people. Guesthouse rooms The guesthouse offers 38 rooms and is located in the Central Building of IST Austria. We have rooms in the following categories: 24 single rooms (15 20m²) 6 single rooms equipped to be suitable for persons with disabilities (20 23m²), 4 double rooms (20 25m²) and 4 junior suites that feature a separate living room and bedroom (35 40m²). HOUSING RATES 2018: price list for download BOOKING REQUEST: form for download Room rates include all taxes, services and the local tax for Klosterneuburg (EUR 1,60 per person/night). All rooms are equipped with a wardrobe, small refrigerator, bed, desk, cupboard, bathroom, air condition/heating, satellite television, wardrobe, and Wireless LAN. On the second floor you will find a community kitchen available only to our guests. The kitchen is equipped with all necessities: cooking utensils and tableware, stove, oven, full size fridge, deep freezer, and microwave. A laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer is located on the third floor of the guesthouse. Please bring your own washing powder. The laundry room can also be used for drying clothes. You can find our pub, which offers food and drinks in the central building, next to the guesthouse reception. Parking is available on campus. Within walking distance from the guesthouse you also find a supermarket, restaurants and the bus station for the IST AUSTRIA SHUTTLE bus, as well as for the public bus lines taking you to Klosterneuburg, Vienna and Tulln. IST Austria has everything to make you comfortable during your stay. Apartments OLD The APARTMENTS OLD harmoniously combine working on the campus with living in the countryside. You live near your workplace, can enjoy nature after work. We offer 28 apartments in 4 residential buildings for rent: 24 apartments á 33m² including balcony 4 family apartments or shared flats á 65m² including balcony Rental period: min. 2 months to max. 6 months Room rates include all taxes and services, electricity, heating and water as well as internet access. HOUSING RATES 2018: price list for download BOOKING REQUEST: form for download The smaller apartments of 33 m² have a combined living and sleeping room, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a toilet. Family apartments/shared flats of 65m² have a living room, master bedroom and second bedroom for children/housemates as well as a kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. This category will either be let to families or couples, or sharing housemates. Every apartment comes fully furnished with a convertible bed/sofa (additional beds in the family apartments), cupboards, a table and chairs, and a wardrobe. Each apartment has its own private, lockable storage room in the cellar with 5m². Please note that dishes, tableware, towels, and bedding are not provided due to legal reasons and it is not allowed to bring your own furniture. There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the basement of all apartment blocks, it can be used by all residents. Parking is available on campus. On campus you will also find a pub, kindergarten, a soccer field, a beach volleyball field, two tennis courts and a bowling alley. In the immediate vicinity there are an elementary school, and several supermarkets. The IST AUSTRIA SHUTTLE bus, and the public bus lines, takes you to Klosterneuburg, Vienna or Tulln. Apartments NEW, built in 2017 The apartments NEW harmoniously combine working on the campus with living in the countryside. You live near your workplace, and can enjoy nature after work. Small apartments The fully furnished two room apartments offer enough space for one or two people. In the living/dining area there is a pullout couch (40 m²) or a smaller couch (35m²), and a kitchen. All living rooms and bedrooms are equipped with high quality laminate flooring. The bathroom/toilet is tiled and offers a walkin shower. Total living space: 18 apartments a 35m² and 54 apartments a 40m² Bedroom: approx. 10m² Living/dining area: approx. 20m² Bathroom with WC and shower: approx. 5m² Family/Shared apartments The fully furnished three room apartments offer enough space for families or flat sharing by of up to 4 people. In the living/dining area there is a pullout couch and a kitchen. All living rooms and bedrooms, as well as the storage room are equipped with highquality laminate flooring. The apartments have a bathroom, equipped with a bathtub and a double sink, and a separate toilet. All apartments NEW are fully furnished with a kitchen, bed and sofa, cupboard, table, chairs, bathroom and wardrobe as well as a storage area (basement). Due to legal reasons the apartments are NOT equipped with dishes, towels, bed linen, etc. Please note that it is not allowed to bring your own furniture. Parking is available on campus. The apartments NEW have a storage room for bicycles and strollers on the bottom floor. Each apartment also has a separate storage room in the basement. A laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer is located in the basement. On campus you will also find a pub, kindergarten, a soccer field, a beach volleyball field, two tennis courts and a bowling alley. For cancellations until 1 day prior to arrival 80% of the total accommodation costs will be charged. Within 1 day No Show 100% of the total accommodation costs will be charged.. Cancellation or changes to reservation(s) have to be made in writing.
