I ve lived and studied in D.C., worked in Alaska and Tennessee, traveled the US, Italy, and Germany, hiked the Canadian Rockies, and wandered the Denali Wilderness. All the places I ve been have shown me that architecture must be aware of place. The power of architecture lies not just in its form but also in its capacity for creative place making, and this is invariably people centric at its core. It is my desire to understand architecture as more than just an object, but see it as the product of multiple disciplines and influences coalesced in harmony.
