Cleaning Contractors: If you have cleaning people coming to clean your condo unit, they are to enter only through the freight elevator with their vacuums, mops, brooms and any other cleaning materials they bring with them. Passing through the main lobby with their cleaning apparatus and materials is prohibited. You as the unit owner are responsible to instruct your independent contractors to follow this procedure. The Concierges have been instructed to enforce these rules. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. Construction Contractors: Please visit the Marina Point Website: MarinaPointCondominium.com where you will find the Marina Point In Unit Construction Rules and Form for you and your Licensed and Insured Contractor to complete and submit to the Marina Point Management Office to be kept on file. You can also stop by Marina Point management office and pick up the form from Marina Point Administrative Assistant Janet Morrell M-F from 9:00AM - 3:00PM or Janet can email you a copy. Please update the office when your project is complete. Please remember to inform your Contractors that they may enter the buildings from 8:00AM-5:00PM and to use the freight elevator to bring in their construction materials. Passing through the main lobby with their construction equipment and materials of any kind is prohibited. The Concierges have been instructed to enforce these procedures and rules.
Marina Point Marble Refinishing Polishing and refinishing of the marble on the Marina Point lobby floors, elevator floors and Concierge countertops is upcoming. Work will start in the East Tower on Monday August 28, 2017 from 8:30AM - 3:30PM through Wednesday August 30, 2017. The West Tower work will start on Thursday August 31, 2017 until Tuesday September 5, 2017. The only inconvenience you will encounter during this process will be that each of the main elevators will be shut down for a half a day so they can polish and refinish the marble floors in these elevators. The other two elevators do not have marble and will be available for your use.
Key(s) Left With Concierge: Starting September 1, 2017 an Updated system will be implemented for leaving keys at the Concierge desk. We want to assure everyone there as never been an incident, we are just tightening up the procedure. If you desire to leave a key at the Concierge desk, you will have to visit the Concierge desk and sign a release of liability form. By doing so, you agree to release Marina Point Condominium and it's staff from any and all claims or liability associated with holding your key. At this time you will also have to update authorized user to your key. Nice and simple! You will have 30 days to complete this task and update your "key user" information. After 30 days (October 1, 2017) anyone who has not signed a release form will have their keys removed from the desk and returned to the unit owner until a form is signed. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding. Certified Mail and Package Delivery: If you desire to have the Concierge accept and sign for certified mail and/or packages (addressed to you), you will have to visit the Concierge desk, and sign a consent form. This form will be kept on file. If you do not sign a consent form, we will be unable to accept your certified mail and/or packages after October 1, 2017.
Marina Point Security Cameras: At the August 8, 2017 Executive session, the Marina Point Board of Trustees approved the addition of more security cameras throughout the interior and exterior of both East and West Towers. Dogs in Building(s): Please remember there is a "No Pet Policy" at Marina Point. While there are approved comfort animals in the building no visitors are allowed to bring their animal in the building without prior approval. This is violating the no pet policy. If your guest requests to have an animal with them, while visiting, you must fill out the required paperwork at the office and wait for the board to decide if the animal is allowed. CAFETERIA Marina Bay Access Corp and the Marina Point Condominium Council Committee are hosting the seven at-large candidates and the three Ward 6 candidates who are running for election. The preliminary election will be held on September 12th and the general on November 7th. Whether you are concerned about traffic, taxes, development or any other matters this is your opportunity to be heard...and to get to know the candidates personally. We want our elected and appointed officials to advocate for the needs of our special neighborhood and to preserve what makes us unique. Please make every effort to attend.
