Please ensure you read all this information, complete the relevant sections and return this form to the Residential Service, either by email; essexhousing@anglia.ac.uk or by post; Anglia Ruskin University, Residential Service, Bishop Hall Lane, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1SQ. Anglia Ruskin University s Sustainable Travel Plan Policy is supported by the Residential Service, therefore, we have a limited number of residential parking spaces. We implement a permit system with specific eligibility criteria prioritising those who, as an essential part of their course have to carry out a shift based placement. Parking is never guaranteed, due to the limited spaces and there is a set fee for the duration of your tenancy agreement, however, students who hold a blue badge are able to make an application irrespective of their course with no fee payable. If your application is unsuccessful you will be notified before you arrive and you will not be able to use any of the University car parks. If at any time during your tenancy you gain unauthorised access without a valid permit to any of the University car parks you will be in breach of your tenancy agreement. This may lead to disciplinary action and you will have to pay any set parking charges implemented by the University to the Facilities Helpdesk. Before bringing your vehicle to University you need to ensure you have made an application and received a confirmation email from the Residential Service. The email will confirm your eligibility to park and how to pay for the permit. Parking permits will not be issued until you arrive. If you change your vehicle during your tenancy you will need to complete and return an updated application form to enable us to issue you with a new permit to match your current vehicle details.
