In order to become a EFMLS Only member, you must meet one of the following: (1) State Licensed Real Estate Broker in Florida or (2) State Certified Appraiser in Florida. Your fee as a member is based on you and all license sales associates (Licensee) under the licensed location. There are no exceptions. To have access to tax and comps (sold) data you must have membership with the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. Membership and pricing information about joining the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors can be obtained by calling NEFAR (Northeast Florida Association of Realtors) at 904-394-9494 ext.1602. The application fee is the same every month. The total amount due in June must include the new annual year fees starting July 1 st. Broker and Licensee who have not maintained membership to NEFMLS within the previous two years are required to pay the application fees. A Broker s total annual fee will include an office fee, personal dues, and personal dues for each licensee under the Broker s license. A Broker is required to immediately report changes to their license status, and changes of any licensee s license, to NEFMLS to avoid penalties and late fees. All invoices are mailed directly to the Broker s office for distribution to the licensees. Also, invoices maybe accessed at www.realtyweb.net, click on My MLS Account, the member number and last four social will be used to log into your NEFMLS account for payment. This helps to maintain an accurate accounting of licensees in the office. Broker s office fee and dues, and Licensee s dues, will include dial up access to the Internet. Internet service is required to access the MLS via a program called FlexMLS. A user name and SafeMLS token will be assigned for access to the NEFMLS FlexMLS system. In the event my application is approved, I agree as a condition of membership to complete those portions of the Orientation Course which are prescribed as pertinent and necessary for NEFMLS Membership and otherwise on my own initiative to thoroughly familiarize myself with and abide by said NEFMLS Bylaws, Policies, and Rules and Regulation, including Standards of Conduct as from time to time amended. I consent and authorize that the NEFMLS may invite and receive information and comment about me from any member or other person, and I further agree that any information and comment furnished to the NEFMLS by any person shall be conclusively deemed to be privileged and not form the basis of any action by me for slander, libel or defamation of character. 1

I agree that my membership in the NEFMLS is subject to suspension, cancellation, expulsion or limitation for cause as determined by NEFMLS without any legal responsibility for such action attaching in any manner whatsoever upon the Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service, Inc. members in their official capacity or as individuals; and I hereby waive all claims against the NEFMLS, its officers, directors, employees, and any and all members, past or present, arising out of any act in connection with the consideration, rejection or acceptance of this application or any action of the NEFMLS or its respective officers, directors, employees, or members, subsequent to acceptance of this application. I agree that if accepted for membership in the NEFMLS I agree I shall pay the fees and dues as from time to time established, and that my act of paying NEFMLS fees and charges shall evidence my initial and continuing commitment to abide by the aforementioned Bylaws, Policies, Rules and Regulations, Standards of Conduct, and duty to arbitrate pursuant to and in accordance with the existing procedures and rules of the NEFMLS and NEFAR as from time to time amended. If applying as a BROKER, I further acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for compliance with the NEFMLS Bylaws, Policies, Rules and Regulations, and Standards of Conduct for all persons affiliated with my firm who utilize any of the services of NEFMLS. I acknowledge that if I am accepted as an NEFMLS Member and I subsequently resign or I am suspended or expelled from NEFMLS membership by the NEFMLS with an arbitration request or ethics complaint pending, NEFMLS may condition renewal of NEFMLS membership upon my verification that I will submit to the pending ethics and/or arbitration proceeding and will abide by the decision of the Hearing Panel; and/or if I resign or am suspended or expelled from NEFMLS membership without having complied with an award of arbitration or discipline resulting from an ethics hearing, NEFMLS may condition renewal of membership upon my payment of the award or compliance with the discipline, plus any costs that have previously been established as due and payable in relation thereto, provided that the award and such costs have not in the interim been otherwise satisfied. 2

If applying as a LICENSEE I understand the fees for subscription are not refundable and are due and payable at the time of application. I further acknowledge that I understand that the term REALTOR is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics, and may not be used in any form of advertising, including but not limited to, business cards, websites and other printed forms, unless I join an Association of Realtors.
