4 ABOUT STACK REAL ESTATE, LLC Stack Real Estate, LLC ( Stack ) was formed in in 2013 by Jeffrey Rothbart to conduct various real estate consulting initiatives. Stack has: provided expert testimony services; procured equity and debt capital for institutional quality acquisitions and development projects on a nationwide basis; assisted in the procurement of equity for discretionary, commingled private equity vehicles; consulted on development, redevelopment and adaptive re-use projects; and served as advisor and intermediary on off-market transactions. Experienced in acquisitions, development, asset/portfolio management, capital markets, leasing, dispositions and sustainability. Financed transactions with common and preferred equity, senior, mezzanine and bond secured debt and other derivative instruments. Participated in over $2 billion worth of transactions, across property types, both domestically and internationally. Conducted asset, portfolio and entity level transactions as well as the acquisition of performing and nonperforming debt as well as REO assets. Published over 40 articles on the commercial real estate marketplace which were cited in over 95 different real estate publications. Consulted for institutional investors, municipalities, corporations and bankruptcy creditors. Mr. Rothbart has a B.A. from Emory University, a J.D. from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from Northwestern University. Additionally, Mr. Rothbart is an Adjunct Professor of Law at IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law, a LEED-AP for New Construction v2.2 and formerly held NASD Series 22 and 63 licenses. Mr. Rothbart has been a market participant for the PwC Korpacz Real Estate Investor Survey for approximately ten years.
