Our agency is no different which is why we offer several options to make paying your property tax bill effortless. Property taxes are payable November 1 March 31. Discount/payment deadlines falling on weekends or a holiday are extended to the next business day. Payment must be received in our office by 5:00 p.m. This guide contains all the information you need to understand your property tax bill. You will also find information about our payment options to help you select one that best meets your needs. Depending on the method you choose, you could even save money! Ad valorem taxes are based on property s appraised value less any exemptions. 5 Payment Options Payments must be made in full and in U.S. funds, payable to: Tax Collector, Palm Beach County. Convenience fees are collected by the credit card vendor and not retained by our office. A fee is charged for dishonored funds. Pay Online: Pay securely at. echeck > FREE. > Banks have different routing numbers. Confirm correct routing number with your bank. Credit Card > A 2.5% convenience fee ($2.00 minimum fee) is applied to each credit card transaction. Credit card payment limit is $99, Pay by Bank Online Bill Pay: Use your bank s bill pay service. Contact your bank for instructions. Use the Property Control Number (no dashes) or Tangible Account Number as the account number. Mail delivery and bank processing times vary.
