45 2002 Ballot Language PRESERVATION OF WATER, OPEN SPACE, NATURAL AREAS AND FARMLAND Shall Dakota County be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in the amount of $20,000,000 maturing over a term not to exceed ten years, to acquire and improve land and interests in land for the purposes of preserving and protecting water, open space, farmland and natural areas, with all spending reviewed in an annual public audit? BY VOTING YES ON THIS BALLOT QUESTION, YOU ARE VOTING FOR A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The maximum amount of the increased tax levy as a percentage of market value is % and the amount that will be raised by the new tax rate in the first year to be levied (2003) is $2,550, % YES 43% NO
