Inventory: The total square footage of a building that can be occupied Available Rate: A measurement expressed as a percentage of the total amount of available space divided by the total amount of existing inventory. Vacancy Rate: A measurement expressed as a percentage of the total amount of vacant space divided by the total amount of existing inventory. Quarterly Absorption: The net change in occupied space over time. Unless noted, all net absorption figures include both direct and sublease space. Available Square Feet: All of the available leasable space within a building, whether it is occupied or vacant, for direct lease or sublease space.
