29 THE DEVELOPER Imperial Market is being developed by the Texas Real Estate Fund, Inc. (TREF), a Houston-based real estate development company founded in Architectural design has been done by global leader HOK Architects. Engineering services are provided by market leaders LJA Engineering, Inc. and Jones Carter. The General Contractor is the renowned D.E. Harvey Builders. TREF is co-owned by long time Houston real estate professionals Geoffrey Jones and James Murnane. Geoffrey Jones Geoffrey Jones has developed, owned, and invested in shopping centers, office buildings, and residential projects in the Houston metropolitan area since the 1980s.
