2 The Value of Cadastre for Society UN Declaration of Human Rights Article 17 par (1): Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with others cadastre provides a feeling of security to land owners a valuable asset for income to many groups essential for creating and keeping economy alive creates responsibility for land and home at owners a tool for preventing from land abuse and corruption a part of society but sometimes too slow, too costly, not on political agenda
