1 THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF BROCKVILLE By-law Number 006- Being a By-Law to Establish General Fees and SeNice Charges WHEREAS Part XII, Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 as amended permits a municipality to pass by-laws imposing fees or charges for services and activities provided; and WHEREAS the Planning Act R.S.O Section 69 permits a municipality to establish a tariff of fees for the processing of applications made in respect of planning matters; and WHEREAS the Building Code Act, 1992 Section 7 permits the Council of a municipality to pass by-laws to require the payment of fees on applications for and on the issuance of permits; and WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to establish a schedule of fees and charges for certain municipal services; and NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF BROCKVILLE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the fees and charges for various municipal services be established as shown in Schedule A: Fees/Service Charges attached hereto, and outlined in the list following, are subject to all applicable federal and/or provincial taxes, unless otherwise indicated. 2. THAT Schedule "B" Fees for Review of Planning applications by the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority are adopted by the City of Brockville and in addition to fees established in Schedule "A" shall be considered as being payable for processing of applications made in respect to planning matters. 3. THAT the fees established by this By-law shall come into effect on April 1,. 4. THAT Schedule "A" and "B" shall be read with and forms part of this By-law.
