1 Broadwater State School P&C Bikefest 2017 The Broadwater SS P&C welcome all riders to the Broadwater Bikefest for 2017! A great day is planned for riders, both young and old! Saturday 25 th November 2017 Order of events: 8.30am 9.30am 9.30am 12 noon 12.45pm 2pm Registrations for the Road Ride BBQ breakfast and drinks are available Riders depart for Road Ride: o Broadwater State School to Stanthorpe o Stanthorpe to Warwick via New England Highway (15) o Warwick to Inglewood (fuel stop) via Cunningham Highway (42) o Inglewood to Broadwater State School via Texas Rd Show and Shine registrations BBQ lunch and drinks are available Road Riders return to Broadwater SS Show and Shine judging finalised and presentations of trophies: o Classic Road Bike o Modern Road Bike o Senior Dirt Bike and o Junior Dirt Bike o Champion Bike of the show Bike Categories: JUNIOR DIRT BIKE 18yrs & Under SENIOR DIRT BIKE Over 18yrs old Any working dirt bike, polished and presented for the Show and Shine. These will not be ridden on the day. All children s entries will receive a medallion. CLASSIC ROAD BIKE Pre 1980 Any working dirt bike, polished and presented for the Show and Shine. May be ridden if registered with a licenced rider. MODERN ROAD BIKE 1980 and over May be ridden in ride if registered with a licenced rider. Can also just be on show for Show and Shine. CHAMPION BIKE OF THE SHOW Bike to receive the most votes on the day. May be ridden in ride if registered with a licenced rider. Can also just be on show for Show and Shine.

All motorcycles are to be brought into the school grounds in a safe and orderly manner any unruly behaviour will result in elimination from the event; 2. All motorcycles are to be taken to their specified allocated areas; 3. Motorcycles will not be ridden around the school grounds at any time, unless it is to bring the bike into the school grounds for the Show and Shine; 4. A responsible adult must accompany junior rider entrants for the Show and Shine; 5. THIS IS NOT A SWAP MEET please do not bring bike parts to sell/exchange at the event. 6. You must provide your current motorcycle licence number on the registration form as well as providing it for proof upon registration. 7. I have read and signed the Participant Disclaimer Form attached. I, agree to the above terms and conditions and will abide by all rules and regulations presented by the Broadwater P&C for participation in the event. 5 PARTICIPANT DISCLAIMER STATEMENT Broadwater State School P&C Broadwater Bikefest Saturday 25 th November 2017 For entrants I/We being the entrant/s of the vehicle described on this Entry Form wish to enter that vehicle for the above event. For entrants and competing crew I / We being the entrant / s and / or driver and / or co-driver and / or navigator certify that the particulars on this form are true and correct in every particular, to the best of my / our knowledge and belief. I / We declare that I / We have read and understood the Supplementary Regulations issued for the Event, and agree to be bound by them and the provision of the Broadwater State School P&C In exchange for being able to attend or participate in the Event (including entering the Event), I / We agree: to release Broadwater State School P&C promoters, sponsor organisations, land owners and lessees, organisers of the Event, their respective servants, officials, representatives and agents (collectively the Associated Entities ) from all liability for my death, personal injury (including burns), psychological trauma, loss or damage (including property damage) (harm) howsoever arising from my participation in or attendance at the Event except to the extent prohibited by law; that Broadwater State School P&C. and the Associated Entities do not make any warranty, implied or express, that the Event services will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in connection with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they were supplied; and to attend or participate in the Event at my own risk I /We acknowledge that: the risks associated with attending or participating in the Event include the risk that I / we may suffer harm as a result of: vehicles (or parts of them) colliding with other vehicles, persons or property; acts of violence and other harmful acts (whether intentional or inadvertent) committed by persons attending or participating in the Event; and the failure or unsuitability of facilities (including grand-stands, fences and guard rails) to ensure the safety of persons or property at the Event motor sport is dangerous and that accidents causing harm can and do happen and may happen to me / us the route instructions should not be relied upon exclusively in estimating the degree of severity of any hazard which might be encountered, or the manner in which any section of the road is driven whether

6 shown in the route instructions or not and that I / We have been advised to exercise caution in following these route instructions. I / We accept the conditions of, and acknowledge the risks arising from, attending or participating in the Event and being provided with the Event services by Broadwater State School P&C and the Associated Entities. I / We acknowledge that my / our personal information will be processed in accordance with the Broadwater State School P&C. privacy policy and where I / We suffer from any injury, sickness or death during the Event, I / We consent to the release by health services of my / our personal health information to an authorised representative of Broadwater State School P&C or the Event who may use it in the preparation and release within and outside Australia of accident information and reports to interested parties for the purposes of accident investigation, accident prevention and safety activities, news services including broadcast services, or for the purposes of processing insurance claims I / We understand that this disclaimer is not intended to exclude any valid claim I / we may have under the Broadwater State School P&C.
