The meeting was called to order by Perry Newman. 6:00 p.m. 2. The invocation was given by Darren Smithson. 6:00 p.m. 3. A motion was made by Tricia May, seconded by Ronnie Dean to approve the School Board Minutes from the Regular School Board Meeting, March 19, The motion carried unanimously. (5-0) 6:00 p.m. 4. Special Presentation by the Football Coaches. 6:01 p.m. 5. The Arkansas Special Education District Annual Performance Report for was presented by Tony Quain. 6:48 p.m. 6. A motion was made by Darren Smithson, seconded by Craig Carter to approve the Special Education local school district budget application for Part B Funds for the school year. The motion carried unanimously. (5-0) 6:57 p.m. 7. Steve Rose presented the Superintendent Report. 6:57 p.m. 8. Administrator Reports Sam Slott presented the Elementary Report. 7:02 p.m.

2 Kenny Holland presented the Middle School Report. 7:04 p.m. Felicia Owen presented the High School Report. 7:07 p.m. Wendi Curtis presented the Curriculum/Federal Programs Report. 7:12 p.m. No PPC Report at this time. 9. A motion was made by Darren Smithson, seconded by Perry Newman to renew the Student Insurance with Health Special Risk, Inc. for the school year. The motion carried unanimously. (5-0) 7:22 p.m. 10. A motion was made by Perry Newman, seconded by Darren Smithson to renew the Contract for Occupational and Speech Therapy Services with Building Blocks Pediatric Therapy for the school year. The motion carried unanimously. (5-0) 7:24 p.m. 11. A motion was made by Craig Carter, seconded by Ronnie Dean to approve the Agreement of School Psychometry Services for the school year. The motion carried unanimously. (5-0) 7:26 p.m. 12. A motion was made by Ronnie Dean, seconded by Craig Carter to award the Awning Bid for the Lavaca Elementary School to Metro Siding and Awning Co. for $16, The motion carried unanimously. (5-0) 7:28 p.m. 13. A motion was made by Darren Smithson, seconded by Craig Carter to award the Yearbook bid to LifeTouch for $7, The motion carried unanimously. (5-0) 7:42 p.m. The board entered executive session. 7:45 p.m. The board returned to regular session. 9:55 p.m. 14. Personnel A motion was made by Tricia May, seconded by Perry Newman to accept the resignation of Karen Ross effective at the end of the school year. The motion carried unanimously. (5-0) 9:56 p.m. A motion was made by Craig Carter, seconded by Darren Smithson to hire Sandra Smalling as the LMS/LHS Cafeteria Manager. The motion carried unanimously. (5-0) 9:57 p.m. 15. A motion was made by Ronnie Dean, seconded by Tricia May to approve the Classified Staff Contracts for the school year as presented. Please see attachment. The motion carried unanimously. (4-0) 9:58 p.m.
