Son William A moved to Covington County in 1900, and his son Iva Thomas married Bertha Naomi Barnes, daughter of William Riley Barnes and Sarah Bulger Barnes. William Riley Barnes was son of Riley and Elizabeth Barnes, in whose household Wright and Martha Powell lived in 1850 Dale County. Riley was son of Martha Powell. (Gertrude was daughter of Iva Thomas Powell and Bertha.)
