The church was intended as a chapel-of-ease to St. John's, Bedminster. It was designed by S. C. Fripp in a Norman Revival style and was built c1841. School house and attached school rooms. Circa 1840 (probably contemporary with the Church) Tudor Revival style in limestone rubble. NGR NGR M Modern Wills office building, located on the southern side of Hartcliffe Way. The building was a two-storey podium standing over a lake designed by the American firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. It was constructed between 1970 and NGR Conservation Area Unknown Bishopsworth and Malago Conservation Area. See figure M Site Iron Age Possible barrow west of Croxbottom Farm. NGR M Site Medieval Chapel of St. Peter, Bishopsworth. The date of construction, form and location of the chapel are currently unknown, although it was presumably on or near the site of the present church. NGR M Site Post-medieval Brick and tile works. The colliery was disused by the time of the Ordnance Survey first edition 1:2500 plan (Somerset sheet VI.06) published in Possible mill on Pigeon House Stream. Tithe map has field name. Croxbottom Farm sits astride stream with weir and pond upstream of it and may be the site of a mill, but not recorded as such on maps. NGR NGR M Site Medieval Highridge Common. NGR M Site Medieval 2262M Site Post-medieval Bishopsworth. The village was established in the Saxon period and is recorded in the Domesday survey of 1086 as the land of Bishop Geoffrey of Coutances. The form of the settlement in the medieval period has not been firmly established. Redhouse Farm. The site of the farm is located on the west side of Hareclive Road immediately to the north of the junction with Gatehouse Avenue. The farm was in existence from at least NGR NGR

The farm appears to have been built in the 1830s and was in existence by the time of the Bedminster tithe survey of Withywood Methodist Church, located on the eastern side of Four Acres, Withywood.
