2 About ARCASIA, the Architects Regional Council Asia, is an assembly of the National Institutes of Asian Region, formed by 21 member countries. The organization itself serves as an extension for each member institute s regional programme and relations. While recognizing the need for worldwide associations, the organization was formed to enable closer working relationships between the individual Member institutes within the region to deal with matters that are of more immediate importance to the region. institute countries, to deliberate and to give collective directions and representation profession in the Asian region.

3 Aims and Objectives To unite National Institutes of Architects on a democratic basis throughout the Asian region, to foster friendly, intellectual, artistic, educational and scientific ties. To foster and maintain professional contacts, mutual cooperation and assistance among member institutes. To represent architects of member institutes at national and international levels.

5 History ARCASIA originated during the 1967 Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) New Delhi conference. An urgent need was felt for the establishment of a regional centre that would be concerned with environmental design and unity among the six Asian member institutes of the CAA. The six Asian Institutes (the founding members) were India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. The proposal was to create a centre for environmental & Technical advancement (CETA) and for the establishment of an ARCASIA Formation council. The first formation council ( ) in September 1970 resolved that future assemblies of the national Institutes of the Asian region of the CAA & ARCASIA be formally called the Architects regional council Asia (ARCASIA). Many of the current members institutes of ARCASIA already belong to the union international des Architects (UIA) being an international organization and integral with UNESCO.

14 General Terms Indian Institute of Architects shall be the organizer for the event, all the sponsors, through their nominated representatives, shall be informed of the events, fifteen days prior to the event. The rights of invitations and admissions are reserved with IIA Rajasthan chapter The rights of invitations and admissions for attendees by sponsors are as per the allotted categories of sponsorship. The arrangement for the audio-visual presentation shall be made on the dias. However, if required, the key sponsor shall inform in advance, about any specific requirement for the product presentation. Organizers reserves the right to release more sponsorships.

This is just an attempt to increase and develop the relationship of Architect Fraternity with the industry & other stakeholders in the growth and development or progression of architecture and not a guarantee of any sort. 2. The date, time or venue of the event may change or the event may get postponed/cancelled in case of any unforeseen circumstances. 3. No claim for refund shall be entertained under any circumstances. 4. Any dispute, legal or otherwise, arising between The Indian Institute of Architects/Rajasthan Chapter and the sponsors, shall be settled within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Jaipur only. 5. The Indian Institute of Architects & Rajasthan Chapter is not liable to part with or disclose any information pertaining to any matter related with the accounts. 6. The Organizing Committee constituted by the Indian Institute of Architects reserves all rights to organize, decide the format of the event, reschedule, postpone, and cancel the event without any prejudice and assigning any reason for such action. The organizing committee shall not be answerable to anyone, nor will it be liable for any compensation of any sort or in any form. 7. The Organizing Committee of The Indian Institute of Architects & Rajasthan Chapter reserves the right to accept or reject the application form of the sponsors, without assigning any reason thereto.
