6 First Law International is proud to announce its newest FLI NET member in the UK Irwin Mitchell Solicitors. Present at the signing ceremony was Mr. Klaus Jankowski, FLI NET Germany Partner and Advisory Board Chairman, and Mr. David Yu, FLI Net China Partner, FLI Advisory Board Member, and President of the Shanghai Bar Association. Irwin Mitchell joined FLI as the newest UK Partner on October 3rd, 2018 as part of its international growth strategy which involves establishing and consolidating a network of closely aligned law firms across the globe. Joining FLI will facilitate inward introduction of English legal work to Irwin Mitchell and it will also ensure it has a credible source of high quality law firms in most jurisdictions to which it can introduce clients requiring legal support outside the UK. Victoria Brackett, Chief Executive of Irwin Mitchell s Business Legal Services division, said: We have been hugely impressed with FLI and I am confident the organization will play a big role in helping us meet our international growth aspirations. 12 EVENT: Join First Law International s Asia Pacific Fall Regional Conference in Shanghai, China Coinciding with our gracious hosts 20th, Anniversary, LLINKS, FLI NET PRC Partner, is proud to host FLI s next regional conference in Shanghai, the Financial Capital of China. This involves getting the latest training and information to enable clients to be at ease, knowing their local representation is 100% compliant and fully certified. This allows for clients' projects to be streamlined and consistent in providing the highest quality of full service, across the globe. FLI's Certification Training covers the US, UK, and EU legislation addressing the prevalent problems of corruption targeted by the FCPA, Anti-Bribery, Anti-Money Laundering, OECD and other similar relevant, country-specific legislation. FLI s primary aim is to continue to raise the bar among our approximately 16,000+ attorneys by augmenting their internal capabilities to identify, report and process a potential corruption matters in the most unlikely places.

Fortune Jurisdiction Project FLI has received many letters of recommendation based on the excellent service received by firms with compliance training and certification, and has received interest from many fortune companies looking for international support, with a guarantee of compliance certification. As a result, the most recent project comes from a Fortune 100 company (diversified technology company leader in Telecom/Energy/Mining) necessitating legal support in 100 jurisdictions. This specific enquiry requests all firms undertaking work to have been fully certified by FLI s Compliance Training. Thus again proving FLI to be a very attractive business model to virtually any client.
