5 HOSTED Y SEATTLE PACIFIC UNIVERSITY (SPU) HOW TO GET TO SPU GWINN COMMONS Seattle Pacific University 3307 Third Avenue West Seattle, WA U.S.A. (206) Coming from the north or south on I-5, take the Mercer Street Exit (number 167). Coming off the exit ramp, get into the right-hand lanes. Turn right onto Fairview Street. Continue to the stoplight and turn left onto Valley Street. At the next stoplight, turn right onto Westlake Avenue. Follow Westlake Avenue around Lake Union until it becomes Nickerson Street. Stay straight on Nickerson Street and turn left onto Third Avenue West. You are now on campus. Remain on Third Avenue West for three blocks, then turn right onto W. Dravus Street and right again into the tiered parking lot (#45 on the SPU Campus Map 140 K PDF). Option 2: Coming from north or southbound on I-5, take the N. 50th Street Exit (#169) marked "Seattle Pacific University." Turn west onto N. 50th and proceed to Fremont Avenue N. Turn left onto Fremont and cross the Fremont ridge. Turn right immediately after the bridge onto Florentia Street. Go one block and turn right onto Nickerson Street. Continue on Nickerson to Third Avenue W. and turn left. You are now on campus. Remain on Third for three blocks, then turn right onto W. Dravus Street and right again into the tiered parking lot (#45 on the SPU Campus Map 140 K PDF). y Metro us King County Metro serves Seattle Pacific University via three city bus routes: Route 13, Route 17, and Route 31. PARKING INSTRUCTIONS & MEETING LOCATION Parking is free at SPU during the summer. From the Dravus tiered parking lot (#45) it is a two minute walk northwest and up the stairs past the Library (#14) and across Martin Square to Gwinn Commons (#10). The conference will be held on the third floor of Gwinn Commons, with some workshops in Demaray Hall (#8).
